Job description
2nd Chef required for 100M+ private yacht, based in Europe.
The second Chef supports the Head Chef in preparing high-quality meals for owners, guests, and crew while adhering to dietary preferences and luxury standards—menu planning, food preparation, including crew food, plating, and ensuring consistency and excellence. The role involves managing inventory, provisioning, maintaining food safety and hygiene, and working efficiently in a confined galley under time constraints. The Second Chef often takes charge in the Head Chef’s absence and collaborates with the culinary team to deliver a seamless dining experience in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Experience needed: 5 to 10 years experience in catering industry and 2 years
experience onboard large luxury yachts
Qualifications needed: Valid passport (and Schengen visa if applicable), 5 part basic STCW, seafarers medical, Food & hygiene level 2
Start date: 1st April
Package on offer: flexible 4:2 rotation - EUR salary
