2nd Engineer - 40m Private M/Y

Job description

We are looking for a 2nd Engineer to join a 40m recently launched Private M/Y

Dual season, which also will include Panama, Costa Rica, Galapagos, and Scandinavia
Support the Chief Engineer in all aspects of the engine room and technical operations
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on all systems
Assist with warranty work, snagging, and aftercare following the launch
Ensure all systems are maintained to the highest standard, ready for a busy first season
EOOW as a minimum, although Y3 ticket preferred
Solid engineering background with strong hands-on skills
Experience with PMS and technical record keeping
Confident across day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and watchkeeping duties
B1/B2 would be good to have but not essential
Salary of €5,000 - €6,000 DOE is on offer
Time for time rotation
Start date: Immediately
