Job description

• 60m Dual season Private Motor yacht are looking for an experienced 2nd Officer to join them 12th March 2024 ready to hit the ground running
• This is a great opportunity to work onboard a well-run yacht with excellent Captains and with lovely owners who use the yacht around 10-15 times a year across the two seasons
• They are looking for an established 2nd officer with 1+ years’ experience on an ISM compliant motor yacht. They are looking for a 2nd officer with excellent longevity and someone that has risen through the ranks onboard yachts over the years.
• OOW 3000 required as well as experience with running and maintaining a full ISM paperless bridge along with a solid deck maintenance knowledge
• Large tender driving experience is essential as the yacht runs with a 35ft chase boat which is used most days by the owner for excursions ashore. The owners enjoy watersports and like to make the most of the equipment onboard most days
• They yacht is will be cruising the Med this Summer – Winter plans TBC but likely to be Indian Ocean for Winter 24
• The yacht has an excellent crew who work well together and they often like to spend time together outside of work running team activities. They are looking for a 2nd officer who can slot in seamlessly and that Is good for team morale. The role will be split between deck and Bridge and you will work closely with the Chief Officer
• On offer is a fantastic package which includes a salary of 5000 Euros and time for time rotation (10 weeks on 10 weeks off). 13th Month discretionary Bonus. Full package discussed in initial call
