2nd Officer

Job description

• 55m Private/Charter yacht are looking for a 2nd Officer to join them early April

• This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified OOW to join a well run, busy yacht with good senior team

• The yacht is currently in the Caribbean, they will be heading to the USA for a short yard period before heading back to the Med where they have confirmed charters!

• B1/B2 Visa is essential

• You will need strong tender driving skills as you will be responsible for guest and owner tender driving, ideally an interest of some diving qualification would be advantageous but not essential

• They are looking for someone who can lead the deck team from the front whilst building their knowledge in the bridge, whilst being supported by a fantastic Chief Officer who will give you exposure to all bridge aspects

• On offer is a salary of 5000-5500 Euros DOE, 60 days leave, training and bonus scheme onboard which is generous and an even split of tips from charters
