60m World cruising Private Motor yacht are looking for a 2nd Officer to join them within the next month

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well run yacht with excellent Captains and a very generous and engaging owner!

The yacht is currently based in Asia and will be travelling around Bali and Thailand over the coming months with future plans TBC but looking like off the beaten track destinations

They are looking for a 2nd Officer who is recently qualified with their OOW and looking to make a step up into the position. The position will run around 70/30 split between bridge and deck and they do run with a Bosun. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your watch keeping experience and bridge exposure

The yacht operates a busy watersports program with predominantly diving, fishing and spear fishing – experience with any of these would be advantageous. The owner often dives with the crew so an interest or qualifications in diving would be great!

The deck team is made up of Chief, 2nd, Bosun and two deckhands

The owner is very generous and enjoys engaging with the crew and investing in their career development and has a real interest in keeping his crew happy and engaged

On offer is a fantastic salary of 5500-6000 Euros DOE along with 5:1 rotation, return flights and a discretionary training budget – the owner is heavily into crew investment!
