2nd Stew – 80m – World cruising

– We are looking for a confident 2nd stewardess with at least 4 years in yachting and 6 months as 2nd stewardess on a similar sized vessel.
– This is a fantastic vessel, with amazing crew longevity, onboard progression, and an exciting cruising itinerary. The boat is currently crossing to Mexico, and have plans to head to Tahiti later in the year!
– With American owners who are very friendly, respectful, and polite. They take an interest in their crew.
– There is a big emphasis on tailoring each guest experience to their preferences. The 2nd Stewardess will be responsible for a lot of this from designing and making menus on Canva, to really attentive service and the Chief Stewardesses eyes and ears behind the scenes when communicating with service Stews and Galley.
– The yacht has a busy schedule with 16/17 weeks of owner usage a year. Those trips are always very planned and scheduled so the crew do have a rough idea of timings months in advance.
– The boat is in excellent condition and does a short yard period each year to maintain this so someone who has done yard periods would be a bonus.
– The Chief Stewardesses are more than happy to delegate as much responsibility as they can, there are no limitations on where this role can go!
– There is a ‘cruising bonus scheme’ in place where the owner tips for every day he is onboard.
– They have an incredibly generous educational and training package onboard, crew are encouraged to do as many courses as possible.
– Leave: currently at 73 days a year but to become rotational 3:1 by the end of the year
– Salary: DOE on Captains’ discretion but more than industry standard
