Description

• 100m+ Exciting New Build yacht based in Germany are looking for a Rotational 3rd Officer to join them within the next 1-2 months


• This is an amazing opportunity for a 3rd Officer to join an exciting New build project which will launch in the coming months and runs with a fantastic crew and lovely owner


• The yacht will run a busy dual season itinerary with both Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising


• This position will offer you the opportunity to work both in the bridge and on deck where you will gain exposure in both areas whilst working closely with the Bosun in the daily deck operations, management and planning of the deck work


• You will be responsible for the Navigational bridge management, chart outfitting and updates as well as GMDSS compliance and maintenance


• As 3rd officer you will be the Ship security officer onboard so you will also need to hold your SSO qualification


• They are looking for a driven officer who has risen through the ranks, worked their way up to Bosun on previous vessels and has completed their OOW and are looking to make the next step into an officer role. They will also consider a candidate with a commercial background with a solid couple of years deck experience on yachts. They are happy to consider both OOW 3000 and Unlimited tickets.


• Previous exposure to watch keeping and bridge paperwork is essential along with an all round deck skillset and tender driving experience


• If you have a Fishing background or spearfishing knowledge/experience this would be advantageous but not essential


• On offer is an outstanding package which includes a salary range of 6000-7000 Euros DOE, time for time rotation (2:2) along with discretionary Bonus and training packages
