Job description

40m New Build Motor yacht are looking for a Bosun/OOW to join them in early November – This position is also open to couples and the yacht is also recruiting for a 2nd Stewardess.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified OOW to step onto an exciting new build project where you will be in a step up/step down position with the First officer covering him during leave periods. You will gain excellent bridge exposure and the opportunity to run the deck department working closely alongside the Captain.
You must hold OOW 3000 and have a minimum of 1 years Bosun/lead hand experience. A knowledge of ISM would be advantageous and you must be confident with navigation and holding a watch. Watersports experience would also be a bonus as the owner has an interest in diving and watersports
You will be covering for the First officer for 3 months of the year which will allow you to grow as an officer in a step up/step down position.
The yacht is due to launch in early 2024 and will be Med cruising with the owner and with long term plans to head further afield to some interesting places! Lovely owner who has expressed an interest to travel and see the world. He understands the importance of training on board and rewardingthe crew to maintain longevity etc.

On offer is a fantastic package which includes a salary of 5000-5500 Euros DOE, 3:1 rotation, discretionary training budget along with a solid bonus package which includes a 13 month bonus and the potential for further performance based bonus’s.
