Looking for an opportunity to be part of an exciting newbuild 33m Mangusta project?

If so, we are looking for an experienced captain to join the yacht in the yard in Italy no later than the middle of July.

This position can be paired with the chief stew position onboard.

Experienced yacht owner who has recently purchased the yacht and intends to have the yacht based in the US for the majority of the year.

She will run a private programme in the US and will charter in the Bahamas during the summer months.

We need a captain who is a confident engineer and also someone with plenty of US and Bahamas cruising experience.

There is a management company in place but they don’t want to be stepping on any toes here so they are looking for a captain who will be proud to be part of this new project and someone who will take pride in the role of a newbuild captain.

You must hold your Master 500GT ticket or the equivalent US coastguard license. You will need to hold your US working visa also if applicable.

This is a great opportunity to work with a high-profile owner.

On offer for the captain is a salary of up to $12,000 + 60-90 days leave. If partnered with a chief stew, then the salary on offer for the chief stew will be around the $5,000 mark with the same leave package.
