Captain and Stew/Cook - 22m Sailing Yacht - World Cruising

Job description

We are looking for a Captain & Stew/Cook to join a 22m sailing yacht in France by the end of July.

This is a privately owned sail yacht and is used fairly extensively throughout the year.

Busy dual season on the cards with intentions of cruising through the Panama Canal and sailing around the Southern Hemisphere from April 2024.

Lovely owner who uses the yacht with his family. They are all very fit and active and tend to start the day with water skiing.

The current Captain is leaving the programme after 3.5 years and there will be a chance for an extensive handover.

2 crew in total and you will have a shared cabin.

For the Captain, we are looking for a passionate sailor, someone who is experienced and is keen to explore. You will be required to hold your Yachtmaster.

For the Stew/Cook, we are looking for a solid allrounder. The family are fairly self-sufficient and are not expecting Michelin star quality food. They enjoy light, healthy and fresh Med style food served casually.

They are wanting the couple to start ideally by the end of July with a quick trip to Corsica, followed by a sail down to Greece and then back to Mallorca before departing to the Caribbean.

On offer for the Captain is a salary up to €4,500 DOE & for the Stew/Cook €3,250.
