Captain/Engineer - 23m Private M/Y - Japan

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and professional Captain to take the helm of a 22m Private M/Y based in Japan. This is a full-time position suited to a hands-on individual with strong navigational skills, a solid engineering background, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized vessels
Young self-made Chinese owner
Great opportunity for someone to cruise Japanese waters
Solid engineering and maintenance capabilities – this is a hands-on role
Excellent seamanship, leadership, and communication skills
A calm, professional manner and high standards of presentation
Fluent English; other languages a bonus
Safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times
Voyage planning and execution in collaboration with the owner
Routine maintenance and upkeep of all onboard systems
Managing a small crew and overseeing guest experiences when in use
Budgeting, provisioning, and liaising with local agents and service providers
This could be a couples position
A salary of $7,500-$8,500 is on off with 40 days leave
The start date will be Mid-August
