Captain/Engineer - 30m New Build Power Catamaran - Med/Dubai Dual Season

We are recruiting for a highly capable and hands-on Captain/Engineer to take charge of a 30m high-performance, new-build catamaran, operating a private, dual-season itinerary between the Mediterranean and Dubai.

This is a full-time position on a modern, privately owned vessel. The successful candidate will be involved from the final stages of the build, through to commissioning, sea trials, and onward delivery. A strong technical background is essential, with the ability to manage all engineering responsibilities as well as command of the vessel.
The program will suit an experienced Captain with strong engineering knowledge, or an Engineer with command experience on similar-sized vessels. This is a very owner-focused program, with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and professionalism. The Captain/Engineer will be expected to run the vessel with a small, skilled crew, taking full responsibility for operations, safety, technical systems, and overall upkeep.

Oversee final build stages, yard inspections, and sea trials
Safe and efficient navigation of the vessel during both seasons
Full engineering oversight, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and service scheduling
Crew management and team leadership
Budgeting, provisioning, and technical reporting
Direct liaison with the owner and/or management company
Ensuring the yacht is maintained to a high standard at all times
You will need to hold a Master 500GT ticket as a minimum
Strong engineering skills and experience maintaining marine systems
Previous experience as Captain or Captain/Engineer on vessels of a similar size
Involvement in new builds or refits is an advantage
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Experience in cruising through Suez Canal will enhance your application
