Job description

Chief Mate Required – 80M+ World-Cruising motor yacht

We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer for an 80M+ private vessel currently engaged in a world-cruising itinerary.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A commercial maritime background

Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments

Experience in managing the deck team, including overseeing deck maintenance and operations

Confidence in delegating responsibilities, mentoring junior crew, and fostering a high-performance team environment

Strong competency in handling various tenders and crane operations

In-depth knowledge and experience with Navigation, Safety, and Security protocols in line with the vessel’s Safety Management System (SMS)

A proactive approach to maximizing the vessel’s capabilities and performance working closely with the captain

Accommodation: Single cabin with private bathroom
