Job description

• A 90m Private / Charter M/Y is looking for a Deckhand / Security to join them before the end of 2024.

• This is a dual-season programme, offering a World Cruising itinerary to both the owner and charter guests.

• The ideal candidate will have a Royal Marines background; however, any Military background will be considered. Having experience with the Landing Craft Branch would really help your CV stand out.

• While the role will be split, 80% Deck and 20% Security, the position offers an incredible entry point for someone looking to utilise a combination of Maritime Knowledge and Security Expertise. This is a great opportunity to join a military ran vessel with a chance to apply military training in a real-world maritime context.

• Candidates with a season’s experience in the industry would be preferred, however this is not essential if you match the desired Military criteria.

• The vessel has a huge focus on training and upskilling crew, with an excellent emphasis on both Personal and Professional Development – offering a generous training budget and structured in-house training. The programme also has a proven culture of internal promotion, making it a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven candidate.

• On offer is a package of €2,800 – €3,200 on a 3:1 rotation, along with an equal split of charter tips and further benefits that will be discussed during the initial call.
