First Mate - 50m World Cruising 3:1

49m Dual season Private Motor yacht are looking for First mate to join them onboard – start date is flexible but aiming for early to mid February 2026


Lovely family orientated yacht with a close-knit crew and amazing owner who looks after the crew extremely well!


They are looking for a well spoken First mate who has some excellent deck skills, confident in tenders, has prior navigational watch keeping experience and has excellent guest interaction


The owner involves the crew in the daily excursions, and the first mate often accompanies the owner ashore for excursions so must have impeccable guest interaction skills and be able to handle a good level of conversation and banter


The yacht moves a lot of an operates in interesting dual season itinerary. Cruising last year included Norway and the UK. They will be wintering in Spain for the next few months and Summer cruising is TBC but likely to be Greece and further afield


Must be confident with leading the team, holding your own watch and also be practical and involved with the deck operations. You’ll be required to jump in tenders when needed and assist with launching and use of cranes


Yachtmaster offshore with some OOW modules completed as a minimum, OOW would be preferred, and the salary will be reflected for a ticketed officer


Supportive long-standing Captain who will also give you drive time with time


Sporty active crew who like to spend time together during down times. An interest in Golf would be advantageous!


On offer is a salary of 6000+ Euros DOE and ticket held, along with a 3:1 rotation, 13th month bonus and training allowance included
