Job description

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced first mate to join a 40m Classic Private M/Y.

The vessel is immaculately maintained and run to a high standard, with a longstanding crew and a relaxed, professional program.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys classic yachts, takes pride in presentation and upkeep, and is confident leading deck operations on a private, owner-focused vessel.

Traditional-style vessel with meticulous maintenance
Strong previous experience on similar-sized vessels in a first mate or lead deck role
Confident with navigation, bridge watches, and all deck operations
Comfortable leading a small team and assisting with guest activities
Practical knowledge of maintenance, paint care, teak, and line handling
Solid shipyard experience is a must!
Professional, calm, and takes initiative
Tender driving experience required
Yachtmaster Offshore ticket required as a minimum
Couples with a Chief Stew accepted
A package of €5,000 with 42 days leave is on offer
