Description

We have a 32m newbuild Private motoryacht looking for a Mate/Engineer & Stew/Cook couple to join the yacht in the Med by the middle of April.

Lovely looking yacht, easy-going respectful owner and experienced Captain onboard.

For the season, this yacht will run with a crew of 4 in total.

The yacht will be used for the owner and his family across the Western Med for the upcoming season.

This is realistically a Seasonal position as the yacht will be put onto the Dock Express and shipped to the US for the owners future useage. That being said, if you would consider working in the US then the owner would happily keep the couple onboard.

For the Mate/Engineer you will need to have your AEC 1 or 2 and ideally hold your Yachtmaster, however this is not essential. You should have a solid engineering understanding and be happy performing a 50/50 split role.

For the Stew/Cook role you will need to have a basic understanding of both. There is a large galley onboard for a yacht of that size. The owner isn’t expecting fine dining Michelin style food. We are looking for someone who is confident cooking up fresh Med style cuisine for the owner and his family.

The final crew member onboard will be a Deck/Stew.

On offer is a salary of €4,000 each and the start date for this role will be around the middle of April.
