Job description

A 55m Private M/Y is seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Officer with an OOW 3000 to join a well-established, professional deck team.

The vessel operates a dual-season programme between the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, offering a stable itinerary and excellent onboard culture.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the confidence to run deck operations day-to-day, and solid experience on vessels 50m+.
A strong focus on maintenance, paint/varnish knowledge, and tender handling is essential.
The role requires someone hands-on, organised, and proactive, who can assist the Chief Officer with planning, manage junior deck crew, and maintain high standards across all exterior operations.
Prior 2nd Officer experience on similar-sized vessels (or strong Bosun stepping up)
OOW 3000 ticket is essential
Strong tender driving skills
Confident with deck maintenance and paintwork
Positive leadership style and good communication
Ability to work well within a tight-knit team
Package: €4,500 - €5000 DOE with 3:1 rotation
Start date: End of December or start of January
