Port Vessel Unit (PVU) Engineer required for UK Port

Job description

We are looking for a Port Vessel Unit Engineer (PVU) for a UK port.

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern : 1 week on, 1 week off (Days & Nights)
(Accommodation can be provided if needed when working)

Salary : GBP

Duties will include:
Provide technical advice and support to the Master
Be responsible for the safety and efficiency of all mechanical machinery, electrical equipment and hydraulic systems on the vessel
Ensure clear, positive communication and understanding is maintained with the shore based Superintendent, on all matters technical.

Candidates must have:

3 years minimum as a 2nd engineer
III/2 Chief engineer Motor
