Project Engineer – Large Yacht New Builds
South Coast (3 days per week) + European Travel
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Superyacht Engineer to join a highly regarded, professional yacht project management company. This role will focus on managing engineering works across multiple large yacht new-build projects (60M+), including planned travel to leading shipyards across Northern Europe.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee engineering aspects of large yacht new builds, from early stages to delivery.
Act as key liaison between shipyards, owners’ teams, and contractors.
Conduct regular site visits (10–14 days per project) to European shipyards to monitor progress.
Attend Dorset-based office for 3 days per week to collaborate with the wider project team.
Ensure clear, timely reporting and maintain excellent communication with clients.
Balance multiple project schedules, managing time effectively across various builds.
Ideal candidate profile:
Significant mechanical and electrical engineering expertise.
Polished, professional personal presentation — diplomatic and client-facing.
Strong organisational skills and excellent written reporting ability.
Flexible and happy to travel regularly within Europe; able to be away for short periods.
Collaborative, good-humoured team player — someone who enjoys their work and brings positive energy to the team.
Prior experience with explorer or ice-class builds is an advantage but not essential.
