Rotational Chief Engineer 2:2 - 50m+ - Single season

Job description

We're working with a Northern European build 50m+ yacht who are looking for a chief engineer to join them.

The yacht has a busy single season in the Med, used privately. During winter, the yacht will be based in Barcelona for maintenance periods. Due a 5 year survey next winter in initial build shipyard.

The yacht is maintained to a very high standard and is in good shape, build chief still on board.

The position requires a minimum Y2 or SV Chief 9000kW ticket.

You will ideally have prior chief engineer experience, however, they will consider a candidate looking for their first chief role if you have considerable experience running an engine room, plus longevity in previous roles.

Salary is €8,500 + discretionary bonus.

Rotational – 2:2.

Start date is 20th September.

Single cabin.

NO visible tattoos – this is a non-negotiable.
