An exciting opportunity is available for a Seasonal Crew Chef to join a busy 90m charter motor yacht for the Mediterranean season.
This is a fast-paced, high-standard vessel with an active charter program, so we are looking for a confident and organised chef who thrives under pressure and enjoys working as part of a professional team
Although this is a seasonal role, there is an opportunity that this could turn into a permanent rotational role
The role will focus on providing high-quality, nutritious, and varied meals for a large crew, typically catering for 40 crew members depending on the program
You will be responsible for planning and delivering daily crew meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellent presentation throughout
The ideal candidate will have previous yachting experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of international cuisine, and the ability to cater to a variety of dietary requirements
You should be well-versed in provisioning in the Mediterranean, managing budgets, maintaining galley hygiene standards, and working closely with the Head Chef and interior team to ensure smooth daily operations
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a flexible approach, as the role will involve busy charter periods as well as quieter owner or turnaround days
Good time management and the ability to work independently are essential
