Job description
Viking crew is looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef for a 100M+ private motoryacht.
Start Date: March 2025
Package on offer: 2:2 rotation, Salary: DOE
The Senior Sous Chef will manage galley operations and lead a large team aboard a 100m+private yacht. Responsibilities:
Leading and managing a large galley team, providing training, support, and direction.
Planning and executing diverse, high-quality menus for guests and crew.
Ensuring compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
Managing stock control, provisioning, and budgets.
Innovating new dishes with a focus on presentation and taste.
Maintaining excellent communication with the interior team to ensure seamless service.
Requirements:
Proven experience as Head Chef, ideally on large yachts (90M+) or in similar high-pressure environments.
Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage a diverse team.
Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine.
Qualifications needed: STCW Basic Training, ENG1, Food Safety Level 2, Ship's Cook Certificate, Yacht Certificates
