Sole Engineer - 40m Private/Charter - Dual Season

Job description

A 40m private/charter M/Y is seeking a Rotational Sole Engineer to join their professional team.

This dual season vessel runs an active program and requires a candidate who is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining all engineering systems to the highest standard.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all engineering, mechanical, electrical, and AV/IT systems
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements
Maintain detailed records, including compliance with ISM and class requirements
Manage spare parts, inventory, budgets, and liaise with contractors and shipyards as required
Ensure minimal downtime of systems during busy charter operations
Y3 CoC
Previous experience as Sole Engineer on a vessel of similar size
Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with AV/IT systems and maintenance software preferred
Package of $8,500 with rotation is on offer
Private and charter program
