Stew/ Chef/ Deck needed for 33m private SY based in Spain.
Our client is looking for a stew/ chef who is also happy to help out on deck when needed for this beautiful, 33m, private Sailing Yacht based in Mallorca
The owners of this vessel are German & very family orientated. They like to be familiar with their crew and sometimes invite the crew to join them for dinner.
The vessel runs with a crew of 4
They are looking for an all-rounder who can take on the responsibility of the interior, who also has a love for sailing and would be happy to help out on deck when needed.
The crew work together as a team, being a smaller sailing yacht, they have an ‘all hands on deck’ approach to get things done!
Duties will include all crew and guest laundry, upkeep of guest and crew areas including detailing, cooking for crew & guests, and provisioning for food, consumables and guest items.
During the winter the vessel is based in Mallorca, and the working hours are Monday-Friday. The captain often will let the crew finish early on a Friday and they get time off over Christmas and holidays without it coming out of their ‘leave allowance’ .
This position would suit someone looking for a good work/ life balance and t be based in Europe for the winter.
Salary: 3000-3500 euros.
Leave: 38 days (plus weekends off in winter).
Start date: 15th December.
