Stew (coupled with deckhand)

Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Stew for this 50m, private MY currently in the US with a very exciting itinerary

This position is to be coupled with a deckhand role (deckhand must hold Yachtmaster ticket)
This is a lovely vessel with fantastic crew retention and longevity. They are an incredibly close-knit crew who get along like family and are looking for a couple to complement this and join in, who would give the boat loyalty and commitment.

The ideal candidate will have at least one season to a year experience on a similar size vessel and be able to hit the ground running

As a stew onboard your main duties will be in housekeeping and laundry however there often will be exposure to service and the Chief Stewardess is very big on training and upskilling – she is an excellent leader and teacher!
The vessel has a cruising literary of the West Coast of the US and Canada. In 'downtimes' the yacht is berthed in Miami near the owner's home. The vessel is used frequently by its lovely, friendly US owner!
