Job description

A 65m Benetti, currently in shipyard in the South of France, is seeking a Temporary 2nd Engineer for a 1-month contract.

Assisting the Chief Engineer with daily shipyard coordination and supervision of contractors
Monitoring and recording progress of yard work
Overseeing engine room systems during servicing, including main engines, generators, and cooling systems
Supporting planned maintenance on auxiliary equipment, pumps, compressors, and hydraulics
Carrying out safety and compliance checks in line with flag and class requirements
Assisting with testing, commissioning, and system start-ups following completed works
Managing inventory, spare parts, and engineering documentation throughout the yard period
€150 - €200 day rate depending on ticket and experience
Start date 29th September
End date 31st October
