Temporary 2nd Engineer - 85m+ - Potential to go rotational

Job description

An opportunity has become available for an experienced 2nd engineer to join an 85m+ German build yacht in a temporary position, however, there is a high possibility for the position to turn rotational if you fit in well.

The yacht is kept in great condition due to the healthy budget kept aside for the engine room and it's a dual-season, busy boat, so plenty of sea time can be gained if the position goes rotational.

You must hold a 2nd Engineer Unlimited or Y3 ticket and an approved MTU 400 course.

Dates for temp contract: 27th July – 19th August.
Dual season – Med / Carib.
Opportunity to go rotational. Heavy owner use, so lots of sea time.
Must have minimum 2nd Engineer Unlimited or Y3 ticket.
They are looking for someone who is hands-on, energetic, driven and already has experience as a 2nd engineer on yachts.
The engineering team are tight-knit and all get on well, there is a great crew gym, crew mess and crew lounge for you to use in your downtime.
€300 – €400 per day, depending on experience.
