We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Female Captain to take command of a well-maintained 27m Private S/Y, permanently based in the Mediterranean.

This is a great opportunity for a professional sailor who enjoys owner-focused operations, traditional seamanship, and running a vessel to a high standard in a private environment.
Experience yacht owners
Full command and safe operation of a 27m sailing yacht
Passage planning and coastal cruising throughout the Mediterranean
Yacht maintenance oversight, budgeting, and compliance
Managing contractors, yard periods, and refits
Maintaining the yacht to excellent standards at all times
Owner liaison and delivery of a relaxed, professional onboard experience
Hands-on sailing, deck work, and general yacht operations
Valid Yachtmaster Offshore / Master 200 GT (or higher)
Strong sailing background essential
Previous captaincy or senior officer experience on similar-sized sailing yacht
Solid mechanical and technical understanding
Mediterranean cruising experience and local knowledge
Professional, discreet, and owner-focused attitude
A salary of up to $8,000 is on offer
Start date: ASAP, although it can be slightly flexible for the right person
