From a young age I had a keen attention for detail, from how clean and tidy my room was to the presentation of our table at family Christmas dinners. During my school years I was lucky enough to develop on my communication skills with both students and teachers of many different nationalities and backgrounds. After school I went on to study Hospitality & Tourism management at University and learnt the ins and outs of the industry and how to facilitate creating the most memorable experiences for clients. After University I spent 2 seasons on a yacht where I worked as a Sole Stewardess/Deck Assistant. This is where my skills of attention to detail, communication and ability to provide an outstanding customer experience came together. With months of back to back charters and boss trips, my skills were put to the test and believe that my efforts were strongly reflected in my tips and bonuses as well as comments from owners/guests. My next role was on a 52m where I started as 3rd Stew and stepped up to 2nd in a matter of four months, this meant I was able to step up to Chief Stew position during her leave. This added responsibility boosted my confidence within the Stewardess role and my quick decision making skills. I also found great pleasure in supporting the 3rd Stew and Temp Stews develop within their roles. From having 100+ guests on board for the Monaco GP to trips solely with the owner I feel that I am able to adapt to all scenarios. Having the support of a more experienced Stew taught me an invaluable amount and I feel I am now ready to progress further within this role on to a new and exciting opportunity where I can grow both professionally and personally.
