Having previously served as a Whole-time Firefighter for Cleveland Fire Brigade I have a proven ability to thrive in fast paced, high pressure working environments. Alongside this, I was a Swiftwater Rescue Technician as part of the Water Rescue Unit, gaining valuable experience and training along with following strict guidelines and procedures as part of a successful and diverse team. Whilst working as a Firefighter, I balanced this with working as a part-time Leisure Attendant at Durham University where I later took up a full-time role. This allowed me to work in a varied sporting environment, delivering the highest possible standards to stakeholders and an excellent customer experience. More recently, I have carried out day work on MY Nevertheless 28m in Cannes, France, initially for two days, but was then asked by the captain to extend for a further week to assist in preparation for the owner’s arrival, totalling nine days. I also secured day work on M/Y Pegasus 20m in Mandelieu-La-Napoule assisting the Captain in preparation for a trip, I was asked back for further work to carry out exterior detailing, washdown and adhesive removal. I am committed to building a long-term career in the industry and continually advancing my knowledge and expertise. I am looking to commit to a vessel long term, build some great relationships and work hard.
