Seeking a rotational position as a Chief Officer on a 60m + motor yacht. I bring almost 2 decades of diverse maritime experience, from professional boatbuilding to instructing and now serving as an officer aboard large charter yacht. I am a proven professional with a blend of technical expertise, safety compliance, refit planning and personable leadership, driving operational excellence and successful project delivery in high-stakes environment. My career began in the workshop at Winder Boats, where I developed my understanding of hull dynamics, advanced composites, and meticulous standards of finish. This foundation built my respect for craftsmanship and attention to detail. After qualifying as a yacht master, I built and ran a dinghy sailing school and taught powerboat and yacht master courses, gaining experience in leadership, mentorship, and vessel handling. Since 2014, I’ve worked through the ranks on motor yachts from 45m to 75m, leading complex transitions: from major refits and transatlantic crossings to pre-sale preparation, change of Flag/Management and new owner takeovers. I have served as Chief Officer for over 2 years and as Second Officer for over 4 years.
