To give you an idea of who I am, not in a professional manner, but as who I am after work and as the person who you will live on board – In general, I am easy going, love to make jokes and not be too serious in my leisure time and enjoy the moments I find myself in. I respect other’s and appreciate to be respected. If I make a mistake or say something without the intention of hurting or being misunderstood, I appreciate to be called out on it to give me the opportunity to correct, instead of someone harboring negative feelings regarding a misinterpreted situation. I respect working with crew from all over the world, different backgrounds and different mindsets. Sometimes we may misunderstand each other and to avoid conflict, I like to communicate and understand the different mindset in each of us. Thus, it gives me a greater opportunity to learn and develop. I understand that we all have days where we are not on top of our game and for me, I become quiet and let my crew know that I am in not good mood, not to warn or scare anyone, just so that my crew knows that when I am quiet it does not mean that I am angry at them. Communication is an important aspect to me. I like both a fun and professional environment.
