However, last December and due to the pandemic I had to ask for the retirement plan to support my family and pay the bank loans. ( I retired on my own, NOT fired) Having served in the Hospitality business for the last 20 years, with success in meeting business/operational goals, and working in the beginning of my career on ferries, fast ferries and small yachts as deck hand and later on for Sheraton Hotels as Restaurant Manager. In 2003 I joined Royal Caribbean Group, going thought almost all facets of food service, first as assistant waiter, waiter, Captain waiter, day Leader, Assistant Food Manager, Head Waiter, Restaurant Training Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Specialty Venue Manager and Assistant Maître d’hôtel (AMD). Customer service, attention to detail, USPH, HACCP, Shipsan, Outbreak Prevention Plan, Work Safe Place , International Labor Organization regulations, Restaurants service, scheduling, standards and procedures, improvement initiatives with focus on streamlining & managing operations with proactive planning, introducing new concepts, leading and directing personnel towards accomplishment of a common goal and multi-tasking are an absolute necessity in my actual position and I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to your organization’s future projects and initiatives. I do have professional attitude, a passion for life on board and proven commercial experience, reaching most of the KPI´s in my venues.
