I am an experienced deckhand currently based in South Africa. I was introduced to industry when doing a delivery from France to the Virgin Isles. I joined the boat as deckhand for the season and gained hands-on experience in a variety of duties, including full wash downs, docking and mooring procedures and operation of toys. I have just recently finished a contract in Greece and Italy as Deck/Cook. Some of my duties included cooking, provisioning, morning preparations, tender operations, crane operations, washdowns and anchor watch. I would handle ground lines during docking procedures and conduct anchor operations. I have experience in video editing and during my 6 months in the Caribbean I would edit videos of the guests.
