I am 30 years old and from Cape Town, South Africa. As a people’s person, I thrive in front of guests and am confident in my ability to provide excellent customer service. I possess a great sense of humour, enthusiasm, empathy for others, love the outdoors, any adventurous activities, water sports, and good food. I value hard work, positivity, organisation, being respectful to others, as well as being surrounded by guests and crew from all walks of life! I decided to conclude my marketing career as Senior Account Manager & Digital Manager in 2023, to learn something completely new, earn good money, travel, and return to my passion for hospitality. As of now, I collectively have 1+ yachting experience, working permanently on two different vessels (Private/Light Charter 44m Motor Yacht, in a Deck/Stew role, and a 48m Private/Charter Motor yacht, in a Stewardess role). I have been recognised for my great work ethic, positive attitude, eagerness to learn, adventurous and active nature, punctuality, and discipline, on board. My most recent boat which was a high standard and busy charter program, allowed me to grasp the tasks assigned to me, and absorb an extensive amount of knowledge within a short time frame. My role required me to rotate between all areas of interior - Laundry, Housekeeping and Service. I have acquired certificates for Mixology/Bartending, Barista, WSET Level 1 in Spirits, a degree in Marketing and am a PADI Open Water Diver. While I genuinely enjoy being active and busy on charter programs, I am interested in taking on a more exciting itinerary and a crew that I can slot into seamlessly, hence the reason I am currently seeking a Stewardess role on a larger sized vessel, with a broader itinerary, moving forward. My objective is to progress towards the role of Purser much further down the line, and am currently working on achieving more experience and skills within my Stewardess role. I am looking to be part of a great crew that values hard work, prioritises guest satisfaction, are respectful to one another, has fun and enjoys life.
