I have over 3.5 years of experience at the award-winning Holland Hall Hotel, where I honed a range of service skills including plated, synchronized, silver, and buffet. As pub manager, I successfully ran an 80-cover pub for lunch, dinner, and special events and during events and weddings would also oversaw the operation of the event bars. I have independently managed weddings and events for up to 200 guests, coordinating with external suppliers, the kitchen, housekeeping, and my front-of-house team. To further enhance my knowledge, I took an additional role as a waiter at a bustling local family-run pub, quickly becoming a reliable and experienced staff member. During this time I studied for my Honours Degree in International Hospitality Business Management, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry and essential business management principles. I am a highly motivated and passionate individual who strongly desires to progress in the superyacht industry. My ultimate goal is to become a Chief Steward, where I can lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service. My enthusiasm for hospitality and commitment to continuous development drives me to improve daily. To further my career, I plan to attend several development courses including the WSET Level 1 Spirits and Level 2 Wine courses, which will further enhance my knowledge and skills in beverage service. Additionally, enrolling on a deckhand course would allow me to broaden my abilities and become a versatile and valuable member of a yacht crew.
