About me
I have experience both as a stewardess and a chef, however I am more interested in a long term stewardessing position with an easy-going but also hardworking crew. I recently worked on board a 37m S/Y as a chef cooking for up to 10 crew daily. Prior to that I was a stewardess on a 65m M/Y, a stewardess on board a 72m expedition charter yacht - both predominantly in laundry and housekeeping. Before that I worked as an assistant cook for a 143m S/Y and as a stew/cook on a 30m M/Y. I have over 12 years’ experience in the service and hospitality industry, which includes hostessing and waitressing at numerous fine dining restaurants, hosting and planning VIP events and promotions, sales and successfully managing bars, restaurants and staff. I experienced exponential growth after running my own business 'JarBar' - an online health food delivery service. I managed all aspects as the Founder and Director for 4 years, so I am no stranger to working very long hours day in and out. I had to be extremely organized to juggle it all between creating the marketing content, managing the website, suppliers, orders, logistics, all customer communication, effectively delegating tasks between my team and ensuring our service and product was always of a high standard. I have an optimistic attitude and work very well in a team. I am an innovative and fast learner with a large appetite to continuously broaden my knowledge and advance my skills. I always give my very best to any assigned tasks and am a perfectionist with an exceptional focus for detail.
