I am a keen individual who works very well with others. This with a broad experience of equipment that I have worked on, I believe I will integrate well with your team quickly and efficiently. My eagerness to learn new systems is strong and am very passionate about my work with an extremely keen eye for detail. As well as gaining a broad spectrum of technical knowledge and experience, I have also gained other valuable leadership skills which include; the day to day management of electricians, Dry Dock planning and implementation, Boss on day to day running and severe blackout recovery. I work well under extreme pressure and remain calm while in season.
Work experience
ETO (Rotational) at 142m Sailing Boat
February 2018 - Currently employed
On SYA, as Electrician and then after promotion to ETO, I gained a vast amount of experience on the ships DC Switchboard and was involved in changing one of the converters after it had failed. Other equipment I worked on was bridge equipment (Nacos Platinum), various auxiliary systems in the engine room, AVIT equipment, Generator maintenance, tender maintenance and fault diagnosis, bow thruster control system repairs, KNX lighting, Cacini/Magma sailing system maintenance and repairs, underwater lighting, Reisinger door planned maintenance, Nau Door maintenance UPS maintenance, Fire Detection System maintenance. The most significant moment during my time on SYA was when the converter failed during the season and a great deal of time was spent working on the switchboards.

I am very interested in playing and watching rugby union where I played for the college I attended while studying to be an ETO. While on SY A I gained my PADI Open Water and then in the Philippines, I gained my Advanced Open Water and Nitrox Certification.
