About me
I am a commercially experienced deck officer with a solid operational background across both yacht and large passenger vessels, currently progressing toward senior roles within the yacht industry. Over the past years, I have served as Chief Mate / Acting Captain on a 25m private/charter motor yacht, managing navigation, deck operations, crew leadership, safety compliance, and overall vessel performance in an active program. This has developed a hands-on, accountable approach and strong decision-making under pressure. In addition, my experience as 1st Officer on large Ro-Ro passenger vessels (300m / 40,000+ GT) has provided a structured operational mindset, strong bridge discipline, and a deep understanding of safety management systems. I hold a Yacht Master Category B up to 500GT (Croatia), with valid STCW and ENG1, and I am an EU citizen not affected by EES restrictions. I also hold Transas Type Specific ECDIS certification. I bring a calm, professional, and low-drama attitude onboard, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and team cohesion. I am comfortable working closely with the Captain, supporting both operational and administrative aspects, and stepping into command responsibilities when required. Currently seeking opportunities as Chief Officer or strong 2nd Officer on 40–70m yachts, or Captain on 25–40m vessels, within structured and professional programs.
