I grew up dinghy sailing and yachting from a young age. Racing at club level and also teaching both children and adults. I owned a Sadler 25 and sailed around the very tidal East Coast of England from the age of 16. I’ve engaged in yacht deliveries, most recently crossing the Bay of Biscay from Guernsey (UK) to Lagos, Portugal. I have a degree in Psychology which I obtained at Newcastle University where I played a good standard of rugby whilst also being the treasurer for the rugby club. I spent 3 years working in a fast paced and high pressure environment as a foreign exchange options broker in London, before leaving to pursue my passion of yachting as a career. Obtaining my Yachtmaster in order to work as a flotilla skipper and then as a deckhand on crew transfer vessels before gaining my Master 200 and being promoted to master of a 21meter vessel. I’ve now left this role in order to have Immediate availability to begin a role onboard a yacht. I’m very happy with extended periods onboard and have no preference on a location.
