I am multiskilled automation/electrical technician with ETO STCW III/6 certificate, having more than 35 years of experience in electrical, automation and electronic fields. Last 13 years I have worked in maritime industry: 8 years on cargo ships in solo role, 3 years on cruise ships and 2 years on private motor yachts. Working on position ETO/AVIT engineer on private motor yacht I improved my knowledge about computer networking and servers, Apple products, VSAT and TVRO equipment, IPTV boxes, CCTV cameras, AV equipment integrated in Crestron processing system, Kaleidescape HDDs movie base, lighting systems Lutron & KNX, Kerio firewall. My best skills are troubleshooting and problem solving, especially in automation and power distribution systems. I have strong knowledge of PLC and VFD controlled motors/machineries, HVAC equipment, UPS and batteries, alarm system, fire detection system, sliding and watertight door, galley and laundry equipment, navigational equipment on bridge, communication and radio equipment.
