I am actively seeking a junior deckhand position onboard a busy yacht where I can develop my skills and knowledge in the yachting industry. I am a highly motivated and skilled individual with a background in trading the markets. I have become accustomed to making critical decisions under pressure, analysing complex situations, and finding effective solutions with a strong attention to detail. I possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and great interpersonal skills. I am a team player who thrives in collaborative environments and am adept at building and maintaining strong relationships. One of my key strengths lies in my expertise in fishing and water sports. Growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, I have spent countless hours honing my fishing skills. I have fished both provincially and Internationally, I am a Springbok Bass Fishing Captain and I was selected to compete in the Junior World Bass Master Classic in Alabama, United States, where I won. I have fished for all types of species and was awarded the International Sportsman of the Year, in 2007. I also spent countless holidays in Kenton, (Eastern Cape, South Africa), Wakeboarding and driving boats. After spending almost a decade in a desk job, I am actively pursuing a new career in the yachting industry. I am eager to prove myself, demonstrate my dedication, commitment, and willingness to learn as I climb the ranks.
