Some people find the sea intimidating. I grew up chasing it. From my earliest days surfing the rugged waves of Mossel Bay to spearheading life saving patrols in high-pressure beach conditions, the ocean has been my workplace, my classroom, and my greatest teacher. That passion eventually brought me aboard the 50m M/Y Rasa in Thailand, where I learned the precision and discipline of professional yachting. Whether polishing stainless steel until it gleamed under the sun, scrubbing teak until it passed the “barefoot test,” or navigating tenders with guests on board, I discovered that every detail—no matter how small—contributes to the larger experience of safety, luxury, and trust. In parallel, my journey as a Lifeguard Supervisor taught me to lead under pressure. Over four years, I rose through five leadership roles, trained teams, and maintained a perfect safety record. I know what it means to be relied upon when conditions turn in an instant. On a yacht, that same mindset applies—anticipating needs, acting decisively, and keeping the crew and guests safe without missing a beat. I’m drawn to Yachting because I want to bring my hands-on maritime experience, safety leadership, and enthusiasm for life at sea to a team that values both skill and spirit. I am as comfortable with a chamois in hand as I am at the helm of a tender—and I bring the drive to do both with pride.
