Hi! Ivan here, a 39-year-old Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)born and raised in Croatia. I started my electro-technical journey in the shipbuilding industry in 2010, where I climbed the ranks from Assistant electrician to commissioning electrical engineer. In July 2017 I started my ETO journey in the cruise lines as a cadet ETO to climb to rank of 1. ETO, right hand to Chief ETO. I moved to Yachting in June 2021 and have worked as an ETO ever since. Although I am more electrically inclined, I am also hands-on in AVIT. I hold an ETO CoC, High Voltage Management Level certificate. I think what makes me good at my job is my experience and resourcefulness–I have long enough in this game to quickly understand the problem. I am resourceful enough to find the optimum solution to the problem. I know that a crucial part of enjoying your work is having quality relationships with your colleagues. My philosophy here is simple–show respect for others and keep your word.
