Captain Jonas brings over 16 years of experience in the superyacht industry, having worked on vessels up to 114m for UHNW owners and elite charter guests. Swedish by nationality and fluent in English, Swedish, and Spanish, Jonas is a dedicated and discreet leader known for his calm command, operational precision, and deep technical knowledge. Jonas has worked at sea for 16 years and has a great passion about the sea and operating large yachts whilst providing superior service and sailing around the world. He has worked on charter & private yachts in the Mediterranean, Baltic sea, Indian Ocean, Asia, West/East coast USA, Caribbean & Greenland. He is a young and adventurous man who enjoys water-sports, fishing, hiking. With his commercial experience and solid foundation in yachting he aims to provide a safe, enjoyable and friendly time on board. Most recently at the helm of the 97m M/Y Carinthia VII, Jonas led a successful transition from private to commercial operation, overseeing an extensive refit at Lürssen shipyard and establishing the vessel as a standout on the charter market. His previous roles include Chief Officer on notable yachts such as M/Y Tatoosh, M/Y Legend, and M/Y Lauren L, where he was instrumental in managing busy programs and complex operational logistics, including high-profile events, charter transitions, and polar expeditions. Holding a Master Unlimited license, Jonas excels in shipyard projects, crew leadership, itinerary planning, and delivering exceptional guest experiences with the highest standards of safety and service. His strong administrative background, hands-on deck skills, and passion for building motivated, harmonious crews make him a valued asset.
