My career began as a deckhand on sailing vessels, having come from a background of ocean racing and deliveries on a wide variety of yachts. I have had experience working with every department on a Motor Yacht making my way up through the ranks to become a Captain. As Captain, I have taken total responsibility for the complete renovation and refit of projects, as well as the organization and supervision of the painting of vessels. My responsibilities have also required me to oversee a multitude of interim, annual, five- and ten-year surveys and presenting yachts to Brokers at boat shows for sale and charter. My Blue Water miles as Captain on large yachts have included the Mediterranean and Caribbean as well as the USA West Coast Pacific, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, California, Alaska, USA east coast from Florida Keys to New York, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Asia, Brazil, The Amazon and the southern Ocean to Cape town. I have a pool of qualified and experienced crew as well as skilled contractors whom I can call upon when needed. These dedicated personnel have worked with me on several yachts and yard periods. It is my objective to make the ownership or chartering of a yacht an enjoyable experience.
