Hello! I am a hardworking officer with a clinical eye for detail and high standards. My training means that I am very safety orientated and I am always doing my best to ensure the highest welfare for crew and ship. I am transferring from commercial vessels in the aim of making a thriving career in the yachting world. I hold the license STCW II/1 (Officer in charge of a navigational watch unlimited) with all documents up-to-date . Concerning qualifications, I graduated from the Uruguayan Naval Academy as a MERCHANT PILOT in 2021. This was a 4 year course, working on cruise and cargo ships, proving my commitment and longevity towards career based goals. With proficiencies in deck operations and holding navigational watches. My passion for the sea started since I was a child, competitively sailing from a young age and having passions for water sports like surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing. So far, I have sailed (as Merchant pilot and as Yacht officer) in the Mediterranean, Caribbean as well as sides of North and South America. My current yacht experience includes; a yard period in Fort Lauderdale, an Atlantic crossing and preparations for an owners trip in Rome. Regarding languages I am fluent speaking and writing in English and Spanish, which is my mother tongue. Im a very laid back, well mannered, individual with a hard working ethic and will surely get along with everyone on board. Im eager to learn as much as possible and add to my maritime knowledge either on a sail or motor yacht.
