I am currently employed as 3rd Deck Officer with Carnival Cruise Line, where in the last three years, I have been deeply involved in all positions on the bridge during maneuver and taking the conn of the navigation, performing the assigned bridge watch-standing and navigation duties, including navigation in Polar waters. My duties include supporting the Staff Captain and Safety Officer in every technical and safety matter, ship’s emergency and crew safety familiarization. Excellent tender driving skills of up to 20 meters tender boat. Having obtained a Certificate of Competency IMO STCW Cap II/1 Navigation Officer Unlimited, a Diploma from the Institute of Navigation & Maritime Science together with all the maritime training certificates required by STCW 95’ international convention, necessary to join a passenger ship.
