About Me: I consider myself a hard-working, dedicated, and committed individual who is always open to, and wanting to learn. I have a huge passion for sport and spend a lot of time outdoors doing what I love. I am easily adaptable and use my own initiative where needed, to get the desired result, while listening to instructions well and following as instructed. I am an extremely friendly person with very good social skills and am able to interact with all kinds of individuals which I feel is a strength of mine. I have been involved in multiple coaching positions while studying. This didn’t only build on my personality but allowed me to improve my social skills while dealing with adversity from kids and parents often. This has taught me to work with different personalities and types of people, while also further teaching me time management, due to studying commitments as well. I am confident in the way I do things and feel that improves the quality of work I produce, and the way I can handle situations which are difficult. I really enjoy new challenges and always give my best, in a very positive and respectful manner. Career Goals: My first goal is to complete my MCA Yacht Rating which will take my first 2 months on the job, as I have completed the theory requirements. I like to see myself as dedicated, committed, and reliable, therefore I would like to achieve the role of lead deckhand as well as completed my Yacht masters 200t, within my first year and a half in the industry, given I have gained the correct and enough knowledge and experience. Bosun will then be my next goal, as I gain experience as lead deckhand and hopefully my OOW title in the same process in the following year and a half.
